Iceman 5/7/09

Iceman is settling in well over in the Hospice area. He seems to be very content being so close to all the other horses and activity. He is slowly getting better at being caught, and we have started working out the kinks on making contact with his right side. He is great with his left, and almost there with his face, but still very hesitant with the right. Iceman still isn't too sure about walking through the gate into the attached turnout, but doing great otherwise.

At times we leave Iceman's gate open so that he can wander into the attached turn out, but he still is not sure about going through the gate!

"Oh no, I am not going through that gate, it might chomp down on me!"

  1. Well, after living in the wild where they don't HAVE gates, I can see they'd take a bit of getting used to! Time..... we have time!!

  2. Um boy, do I know about those gates. My lil wild Sugarfoot is the same way. It's a BIG deal to go thru that. We've almost got it. It's a hard thing to learn!
